Head of Technical Services (m/w/d)
Your key responsibilities
As Head of Technical Services, you hold overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of all technical areas within our property. In this key position, you ensure not only the flawless operation, safety, and preservation of our infrastructure, but also actively shape its ongoing development.
Overall responsibility for the technical operations and the entire infrastructure of the property, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Strategic planning and implementation of maintenance, investment, and renovation projects.
Responsibility for budgeting and cost control within the technical department, including long-term investment planning.
Leadership, development, and organisation of the technical team, with a focus on clear structures and solution-oriented working methods.
Selection, management, and supervision of external service providers and contractors.
Further development and implementation of initiatives in energy efficiency, sustainability, and resource management.
Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, safety standards, and internal policies.
Close collaboration with all departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous optimisation of processes.
What you bring to the job
Solid technical training, complemented by further education in building services engineering, facility management, or related disciplines.
Extensive leadership experience at a senior management level in comparable structures, ideally in the technical management of complex building infrastructures within the hospitality sector.
In-depth technical expertise in building services, energy efficiency, safety, occupational health and safety, and digital infrastructure.
Proven experience in leading and delivering investment, renovation, or construction projects.
Experience working with modern ERP/CAFM systems and digital tools for managing, documenting, and optimising technical processes.
Strong leadership personality with excellent communication skills and a systems-oriented mindset.
High resilience and a goal-oriented approach in a dynamic and complex environment.
Very good command of the English language; additional languages (German and/or Italian) are a big advantage.
